Mary Teshima, one of our fabulous tombombs, hooked us up with Adopt-A-Highway. I've heard that in some states, you pay for the sign and others do the rubbish-picking. Uh uh. Nope. Not here in Hawai'i nei...we roll up, early morning, sporting our ever fashionable Team Tombomb Adopt-A-Highway tees, ready to battle litter! As silly and simple as it is, I couldn't be more proud of my little tombombs. Mary went out on her own and did this...it's her project with a tombomb name. And there has neve been a cleanup without Gia. Me? Even I'm sometimes absent. These girls are the shining, glorious examples of what makes our community so special and unique. This comes natural...think locally, act globally.
