Banana, mango, poha, lilikoi, chili pepper, avocado....these are littered in my front yard, perfectly framing the blue ocean, reaching up the the jet black lava rock shore...that's what makes home so beautiful...a myriad of complementing contrasts; Obake rain (the most amazing occurrance when it rains in full sunshine), black sand and whitewater, mauka cool and beach time heat, a colorful lei on a wheat colored lauhala hat. Look around and you'll see it...just like the tombomb in the lovely dress who you surfed with earlier in the morning. The combination of grace and strength..Hawai'i has always been this way. Aloha no...
