Under a blue moon, I found myself a'ama crabbing on the rocks up north at Paniau, one of the big island's most intriguing, beautiful places. After I'd switched from party dress and sparkly earrings, to bermudas and a hoodie...I couldn't help but feel lucky and thankful - I was a guest, invited in by a new 'ohana to partake in the celebration...night surfing and fireworks, blue-moon washed salt spray and bubbly on the rocks.
